What I Have Been Thinking and Doing Lately

1. No matter how many tasks that you check off your list, the list never ends.
2. Puking even 2 years after having a baby really stinks.
3. I cannot wait for the election to happen so I don't have to hear about it
4. Our new shed is awesome.
5. Our neighbors, the Dan and Terri are going to be our great friends for years.
6. Timmy does a great impression of his grandfather making coughing noises.
7. Deciding on a small business with no electricity and permits is hard.
8. Making the high school football playoffs sucks for coach's family.
9. 20th high school reunion on Saturday, not buying anything new, but must color hair.
10. Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner.
11. Wireless Internet is awesome, sitting on couch with computer rocks!

This weekend is BG girls weekend and I couldn't be more excited to spend quality time with my good friends from BG. Cannot wait!

Fireproof Your Marriage

Tonight was date night for Larry and I. We went to Red Robin for dinner and then we went to see "Fireproof" starring-you'll never guess - Kirk Cameron.

It was a movie about a couple married 7 years and growing apart. The man's father shows him that he needs to find the real meaning of love to make his marriage work. A little too much talk about finding the Lord, but overall, an okay movie. It probably should have been shown on PAX rather on the big screen.

Chicken A La Derek

Derek and Nicole saved the day! Nicole gave me a 3 ingredient recipe that went over so well that even Timmy ate every bit he was given! Larry liked it too! The recipe came from Derek's Home Economics class and I will share it with you. Let me know if you try it and how it turns out.

Ingredients:
Boneless, skinless chicken breast
Ranch Dressing
Barbecue potato chips

Directions:
Pour ranch dressing on a plate.
Crunch up barbecue chips in ziploc bag and pour on a plate.
Dip chicken in ranch dressing, then dredge in potato chips.
Place in pan or baking dish (I lined mine with foil and sprayed with Pam)
Cook on 350' for 30 minutes, until juices run clear.
No need to flip chicken over.
Serve with rice and veg.
Easy.

I might try it in the future with other kinds of chips as well.

As of September 8, 2008, Ohio licensed drivers can attach information for one or two emergency contacts to your driver's license record with the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. This is possible due to the NEXT OF KIN legislation that swept through the Ohio General Assembly this session and provides emergency responders with vital information to reach contacts of your choice should you be involved in a serious crash.

Ohio is the first state in the coutnry to enact such a law. I urge you to share this information with your families, friends and all other licensed Ohio drivers.

There is no charge to enter or update this information.

This registry, which is brand new to Ohio and the first in the country, will make it much easier for law enforcement to track down your families if you are involved in a car crash or another emergency situation and are unable to provide contact names and phone numbers.
