Date Night at a Wedding

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Cesa, Larry and I got to go to a wedding and have a good time without a worry. We were gone for 8 hours and had a wonderful time. You can tell my cheeks that I was having a good time and that martini had something to do with it.

Gotta get the ingredients for that martini............

Olive Garden

We had a gift card to Olive Garden and Larry came home late due to football so we went out to dinner tonight. Guess who I saw there? Michael Franciscello and his father. Now, if it is good enough Italian for them, how can we go wrong?

Done with Home Depot

I meant to post this earlier but have been busy lately. I am done with the Home Depot for awhile. A couple of reasons:

1. I went to the home depot about a month ago and was deciding which piece to purchase. A woman with a clipboard approached me and I thought maybe she would ask if I needed help. No. She wanted me to sign up for a chance at a consulation about new windows or siding or something - I wasn't really listening. I told her that I had a new house so I was not interested. I made my purchase and left.

2. A couple of weeks later, I was trying to find a light for over the kitchen counter. I was looking at the lights and found one that I kind of liked. A male worker approached me and asked if I needed help. I said I was looking at the lights and I pulled out my camera phone to take a photo of the light so I could see if Larry liked it. He said to me, "You can't take a photo of that." I said, "Yes, I can with my phone and I clicked the button to take the photo." He said, "You just did, didn't you?" and I said, "Yes, I did." He says to me, "Well, that light is order in only so you'd have to wait for it to come in anyway." I said Thanks and left the store. As I wandered out, I was approached by that same lady with the clipboard again about the home improvement project and I was irritated saying "Not interested" as I walked out.

3. The next day I went to Lowe's. I walked in, found an awesome kitchen light and bought it on the spot. Walked to register, paid and walked out. Much nicer experience.

Timmy is Two!

We had a family party for Timmy on Monday, the day he turned 2. He loved getting gifts and playing with his cousins.

Finally Feeling Better

I was not feeling well last week and it lasted into the weekend...By Sunday I was feeling much better and I enjoyed a picnic at my aunt's and a bonfire with our neighbors.

Timmy is now 2 and he had a wonderful birthday. He loved opening the presents and running around outside.

Back to work today and have a short week. Yeah!
