Mad about Brad
Really. I am disappointed in Brad Pitt. I read on MSN today that he and Angelina Jolie are expecting a baby together. I know that I don't know all of the details between the marriage of Brad and Jen, but it just feels like Brad left her high and dry. I know, I know, it is just a hollywood marriage but for some reason, I had to comment. Hopefully Jennifer Aniston moves on to have a happy life without that jerk.

My BG Friends
I spent the past weekend with my best friends from college. Eight out of nine of us got together, even Gwen flew in from Chicago. I am so grateful to have these friends to reminisce about the old times and create new memories every time we get together. Thanks to each and every one of you BG girls for making an effort to keep our friendship strong over the years. I know it is hard when we move, build careers, raise families, but somehow, we have managed to keep it together. Looking forward to seeing or talking with you all in 2006.

Finally
Finally, it has happened to me...
After 3 years, 2 surgeries, 2 failed ivfs and 7 artificial insemminations, and much money, it seems that I have tested positive for pregnancy. Or, should I say it? I am pregnant. Not only have I tested positive at home, but on the blood test and on the ultrasound. I saw a heartbeat with my own two eyes on Wednesday, January 4th. At that point, I was 6 weeks.
I have told a few close friends but not my extended family or my workplace. After all the emotional and physical ups and downs, it is hard to believe that I have good news to share. Yet, I seem to be getting looks from people that I am telling our news too early. Unfortunately, we are just so darn happy that we have good news for a change that we don't want to hold it in.
I cannot wait to go to my next appt. in February to get a confirmation that things are going well so I can somewhat relax my mind. So far though, so good.

Holidays are Over!
Today is January 2nd and I am so glad the holidays are behind us! It was a hectic time but it did seem to fly by quickly this year.
Larry and I went to Nashville the last few days of the year and listened to lots of country music and had lots of good food. On New Year's Eve, we drove up to Columbus to ring in the new year Jimmy Buffet style with his friends from college.
Monday and I am back to work. Sometimes it is nice to get back to the normal routine.
