Well, my baby shower was this weekend and I have fully recovered--even though I haven't been able to put everything away yet. The shower was very nice, I have a lot of good friends who came out to support us and give us gifts that we truly appreciated. Now we're in the final stretch of doctor's appointments until the end is in sight in August.
When I went home, I watched the wedding episode of the My Fair Brady and honestly, they are so disfunctional. Christopher Knight is very immature in his fear of making a mistake. The way he threatened to not marry her the next day was completely ridiculous and caused so much drama. It seems that anytime anything went wrong, he'd say, "I don't know if we should be getting married." Now that they are married, hopefully he can stick to the commitment and not hold a divorce over her head for the rest of their lives.

Monday, Monday
Back to work after another whirlwind weekend....Brother in law turned 40 on Friday night so had to celebrate at his house with a late evening party....Saturday, we were off to Columbus for a charity Texas Hold Em Tournament. Back on Sunday, stopping at Lodi Prime Outlets for some shopping. Back to work today :(
Landscape is on our mind. The yard was rockhounded this week and the patio was framed. Hopefully, by the end of this week the weather will have been good enought to have our patio poured. Then, we're hoping to see the beds put in and the brush cut back along our property line...long process.

Upon Turning 36
I turned 36 today. I actually feel it is not a big deal this year. Maybe in a year or two, I will take it worse as I close in on 40. I am happy this year because our baby is coming very soon. After our struggles, this baby is the best birthday present I could have received--well, at least since I met my husband.
Anyway, was at work today and actually did some work. Going to dinner tonight with my parents and my father in law and wife. Tomorrow, we're hosting the 4th of July. This past Saturday, we went to Pittsburgh for the day. We went to IKEA where we bought an area rug for our living room. Then, we did some shipping and checked into a Westin Hotel where they really do have a Heavenly bed. We walked to dinner and then to see a cabaret show, "Forbidden Broadway", after the show, we headed back on a very warm summer night. Sunday morning, we were up and headed to Station Square which would have been cool at night, it was all closed up in the morning. We headed home. We enjoyed our short trip to Pittsburgh and decided it was a close get away that we would definitely go back to in the future.
