Monday again.

Last Monday was the wine incident. This Monday? My son threw up at daycare and I had to leave work. He showed no signs of being sick and no fever. He either picked up a bug or his stomach is upset.

Anyway, Saturday night, Larry and I got dressed up and went to the Manor for the football reverse raffle. A big thanks to Amy and the Skolny's for letting Timmy sleep over, he loves it there. Anyway, we had a good night getting out. Sunday, the parents came over for a impromptu dinner and we had a very relaxing evening.

Rock of Love

Ok, so Rock of Love is the #1 reality show on VH-1 this year and the girls are were talking about it Thursday night. So, Friday night after Timmy went to bed, I watched the finale episode and the reunion episode-- and I think that that's all I really needed to see to get the gist of it.

First off, Bret Michaels looks like he has too much eyeliner on and his eyes looked weird, not even going to mention the always present bandana. If I remember right from the 90s, he has diabetes, right?

Anyway, I did think Daisy was a tramp, but on the reunion, I had to agree with her when she said she was mad that he "sealed the deal" with her and then didn't pick her. The other girl, what was her name? I can't remember, was it Amber? Anyway, the girl who won. I did like her pretty much but am wondering if it bothered her that Bret slept with Daisy too? I guess not since she was willing to go "have hot monkey sex" with him the night he chose her. Gross me out. Really. Did he have to say that on national tv?

Anyway, I hope it works out so we don't have to see another series of this crap.

Yes, I am Still Here

Taking 2 minutes to write before getting Timmy up for school. We have been so busy, busy, busy. Got photos taken of Timmy since we missed 18 month, cleaning red wine out of our living room carpet, pullout out the summer furniture and rebating. That is what I have been up to lately.

"Outside"

We have create a monster. Timmy is an "Outside" monster. Now that spring has sprung, all this kid wants to do is go outside. Last week at daycare, they went outside and he loved playing outside, so much so that he cried and cried when they brought him in. Not even "Melmo" could make him happy.

This past weekend, we took Timmy to the mall, played on his "bike" on the sidewalk and event blew bubbles on the back deck. He loved it. We put a baby gate outside on the deck so he can walk out in the mornings when it is warm and throw his ball around.

And we thought the "Fruit Snack" monster was going to be a tough one.

Giordano's Chicago Pizza

Ok, my husband loves Chicago style pizza. His birthday is this week so I ordered him a Giordano's pizza from Chicago. It was $16 plus $34 for FedEx delivery so a $50 pizza, it better be damn good. Anyway, the pizza was half-baked and sent to us overnight from Chicago packed in dry ice. We opened it and it looked just like some 19 year old boy made it. The crust was uneven, the cheese slapped on. We cooked it and it was awesome. Definitely worth the price.

Comparatively, a few years ago I ordered a Lou Malnati's pizza from Chicago and paid big bucks to have it delivered. It came perfectly round and shrink wrapped and looked like it came out of a factory.

If you are ever going to order a Chicago style pizza from Chicago, choose Giordano's. Pizza photo above is a Giordano's pizza.
