Quick Update

It is Wednesday and we're getting ready to leave for our trip to Hilton Head on Friday morning. We've packed up everything and Timmy requires the most gear for the trip. We rented a car and we will be driving as far as we can on Friday, then finishing up on Saturday.

We will be staying at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis which has the largest pool on the island. Our condo is one bedroom and we'll bring the pack and play for TK. Larry's college buddy, Mark and his girlfriend will be staying about 10 minutes down the street from us at his mother's condo at Forest Beach. His mom has had the condon since 1978 so she's really a local down there. Mark's mom has graciously volunteered to watch Timmy for us so we can go out for my birthday on the 3rd.

On another note, Tuesday, June 26th completed 12 years of employment at Progressive. I am very happy here and the benefits, people and facilities are wonderful.

Baby Dannah Nosse

Monday, our newest niece Dannah Adrianna Nosse was born. Larry and I took Timmy to meet her at Hillcrest Hospital that night. We had to sneak him in for visiting hours, lucky Laurie's sister is a nurse there. Anyway, a beautiful little girl.

BNL

Sunday, I surprised Larry with tickets to Barenaked Ladies at the Nautica pavilion. Yes, I know that it is also known as Scene and Plain Dealer pavilion, but I've had enough of that nonsense. Everyone knows it as Nautica.

Anyway, we went with Amy and John and had a great time. They sing so many songs that we all forgot that we used to like so much.

I took Steven's words to heart from "In a Nutshell":

"But I don't tend to worry about the things that other people say,

And I'm learning that I wouldn't want it any other way.

Call me crazy, but it really doesnt matter"

If only I could live by this motto all the time.

Late Week

Wednesday night we went to Texas Roadhouse and had salads because our friend is walking in the 3 day, 60 mile walk for breast cancer and 10% of your order went to them. We also donated at the door.

Thursday night, we went to Jeanne and Chad's new home in Willowick. It is a very nice place with a finished basement. They will have such fun decorating and setting up their new house.

Tonight, Timmy and I took a shower and I put him into bed. We're going to watch last night's Top Chef that we DVR'd and probably check on the Cavs game, too. Although, I predict the Cavs will pull off tonight, they won't go all the way. I have to admit, they have really brought life and excitement to this town.

Things Are Happening

Woods behind house were cleared and mulched, grass was planted, beds were built, patio furniture, grill and fire pit were brought out of storage....

Good friend's boyfriend was met, other friend's baby was visited. Honda's battery was replaced and Joey's 5th birthday was celebrated...

Father's Day gifts and cards need to be bought. Rita's birthday card needs to be sent. Ebay sale must be packed and shipped, and Jeanne's new house has to be be visited.

This weekend will come, then just 2 weeks more, we'll head down to Hilton Head to rest by the shore.

This guy is a real character. I love to watch him and his pig nose get ticked off at job sites. He's got a new show on TLC after a breakdown with A&E (he's suing them now). His bio states he has 3 children. I wonder if he and Ginger are an item.
